Are you ready to Swim FAST? FAST Bulldogs
The Frankfort Area Swim Team (FAST) Bulldogs are a premier swim team swimming out of Frankfort Kentucky. FAST swims year round in regional swim meets and practices six days a week at the Kentucky State University Exum Center. Annually, the Bulldogs are some of the best swimming atheltes in the state and traditionally have swimmers qualifying for the Kentucky State Championships. FAST is a nationally recognized swim team with accrediation received from both Kentucky Swimming and USA Swimming.

Swim Lessons Every Tuesday Night -- KSU pool is currently closed for repairs. Therefore, swim lessons have temporarily been suspended. An update will be posted as soon as the pool is back in operation.Future Swimmers will be receiving instructions every Tuesday Night starting at 6PM at KSU Exum Center Pool. SWIM PLAY FRANKFORT (SPF)
FAST supports the concept of Swim Play Frankfort (SPF)! A Family Recreation Center to be built in Frankfort, Kentucky. The facility will become home to events ranging from swim meets, archery competitions, basketball and volleyball tournaments and not to mention training spaces for Frankfort's youth athletes. The facility will fill a void that currently exists in Frankfort and Franklin County and will become a source of community pride. Built through a public/private partnership, SPF will provide numerous oppportunities for our community. The Frankfort Area Swim Team will be receiving a visit from Dave Thomas the Sport Development Consultant for USA Swimming from Colorado Springs, Co. He will be visiting our team to speak with our Coach, Board, Parents and Swimmers about being a part of USA Swimming and how each of us play a vital role in our Organization. Please make every effort to attend this meeting as it will be an important learning experience for everyone in the family. We have tentatively set the meeting for 6pm on Wednesday, May 30th at KSU. We will let everyone know if there are any changes.

Kids Legacy Tri in Lexington, Ky
There is a Kid's Legacy Tri on June 3, 2012 at Spindletop for kids, ages 6-14. They have been sanctioned by USA Triathlon and will have four different waves/distances. The race and registration information can be found at www.kidslegacytri.com
and they would love to have some FAST Bulldogs compete.

FAST Starts
Former Head Coach Dave Montgomery founded the Greater Frankfort Swim Association in 1965. Over the past 40 years, FAST has coached over 400 swimmers to state championships in individual events. The leadership and involvement of the coaches, combined with the spirit and friendship of its swimmers and families make FAST unique. Frankfort Area Swim Team (FAST) is an incorporated, non-profit, parent run swim club.
